Telehealth Informed Consent

This consent describes how the StripDose telehealth consult works. You review and accept it inside the consult flow before any provider review. It is presented here for transparency.

The nature and limits of telehealth

A telehealth consult connects you with an independent licensed healthcare provider remotely — by secure video, phone, or a state-compliant asynchronous review. Telehealth has limits: a remote provider cannot perform a physical examination, and there are situations where in-person care is more appropriate. Your provider will tell you if that's the case.

Independent providers

StripDose does not practice medicine. Consults are provided by independent licensed providers who are solely responsible for clinical decisions. StripDose facilitates access; it does not direct care.

Compounded products are not FDA-approved

The prescription-class products discussed (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide, PT-141) are compounded. Compounded products are not FDA-approved; the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. Your provider will explain this and discuss risks and alternatives.

No guarantee of a prescription

A consult is a genuine clinical review, not a purchase. The provider decides whether a therapy is appropriate. If it isn't, no prescription is issued and there is no purchase path — with no pressure and no retargeting.

Your privacy and your rights

Your medical history and consult records are held by the telehealth partner under its privacy practices and applicable agreements, not by our marketing site. You consent to electronic communication for the consult. You may decline or withdraw at any time, and the decision to purchase — if a therapy is approved — is always yours, made after the consult.
